How Broken Can My iPad Be To Sell?

Whether it has a cracked screen, water damage, or is completely non-functional, there’s still value in your device. Even if your iPad won’t turn on, has a malfunctioning battery, or has a shattered screen, you can still sell it. Many buyers, including professional iPad buyers, purchase broken devices for their parts or for refurbishment.

The extent of the damage will affect how much you can get for your iPad, but even phones with significant issues are often worth something.

How Much Is A Broken iPad?

The value of a broken iPad depends on the extent of the damage, but even damaged devices can still fetch a fair price. For example, if your iPad has a cracked screen, water damage, or won’t turn on, the price you can get will vary based on these factors. Typically, a broken iPad can range anywhere from £50 to £250, depending on the model and condition.

For a more recent iPad model, like the iPad Pro or iPad Air, you might get a higher price even if it’s damaged, ranging from £100 to £250. Older models or those with significant issues, like internal faults or severe water damage, might be worth less—around £50 to £150.

Ultimately, the value depends on the specific condition of your broken iPad and the demand for its parts. Check yours online.

What Happens To My iPad When I Sell It To You?

After you accept our offer, you’ll send your iPad to us using a free shipping label. Once we receive it, we thoroughly inspect the device to assess its condition and ensure it matches the details you provided.

If your iPad is still functional or has minor damage, we may refurbish it for resale. For more severely damaged iPads, we responsibly recycle the device or salvage valuable parts, ensuring that e-waste is kept to a minimum. Throughout the process, we take care of securely wiping any data from your device, so your personal information is protected.

Once the inspection is complete, you get paid the same day.

Why You Should Recycle Your Broken iPad?

Recycling your broken iPad is a great decision for both the environment and your wallet. First and foremost, it helps reduce e-waste, which is one of the fastest-growing waste streams globally. By recycling your device, you're preventing harmful chemicals and materials from ending up in landfills, where they can pollute the environment. Instead, your iPad can be repurposed, with valuable components being salvaged for reuse in other devices, reducing the need for new materials.

Additionally, recycling your broken iPad helps conserve natural resources and lowers the carbon footprint associated with the production of new electronics. It's a responsible choice that supports a more sustainable future.

Moreover, recycling your iPad can also be financially beneficial. We offer cash for broken devices, so you can get a fair payout even if your iPad is no longer working. So, instead of letting it gather dust, recycling your broken iPad is an easy way to get money back and contribute to a healthier planet.
